Instructions for Honey Dijon Salad Dressing

1. Add all of the ingredients to a jar. Cover with the lid and shake until well combined. Alternatively, put all ingredients into a small bowl and whisk until well combined then transfer it to an airtight container. I like to keep it in a mason jar. But that’s it! How incredibly easy is that?!

All that’s left to do is top your favorite salad, use as a pasta salad dressing or marinate chicken with it. Or try all three, the choice is yours!

Fresh squeezed lemon juice and fresh Dill will really add a lovely fresh flavor to this dressing. But bottled lemon juice and dried Dill can be used instead and still produce a delicious dressing.

I use Extra Virgin Olive Oil, but if you don’t have Extra Virgin that is fine. The dressing will still come together nicely with regular Olive Oil.

This recipe makes enough dressing for 1 pound of pasta with a hefty addition of vegetables and it’ll coat everything generously.

However, you could also prepare this dressing and keep it stored in your fridge to be used as you wish. Keep it in an airtight container, like a glass mason jar with a lid. It will last up to 3 months in the fridge, but it never lasts that long in my house!

I’m currently testing this Honey Dijon Mustard dressing out as a marinade for chicken thighs so keep an eye out for that recipe too!

Storing the Honey Dijon Salad Dressing

This dressing will keep good in the fridge for up to 3 months when stored in an airtight container. Such as a glass jar with a lid. It will separate the longer it sits, but just give a shake when you’re ready to use it and it’ll come back together quickly.
